MyDomain makes it simple to transfer your existing domain names. For $6.99, you can transfer any existing domain you have that has a .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz or .us extension.

Transfers add an additional year to your current registration.

Due to a change at the com/net registry, transfer regulations have changed for all .COM and .NET domain names. Authorization codes will now be required to transfer domain names to MyDomain.
To obtain an authorization code, you will need to contact your current registrar. You will be required to provide this authorization code to complete the domain transfer process with us.
If your domain is already registered with us, you have nothing to worry about. This notice is only for those who have their domains registered elsewhere and are in process of transferring OR planning to transfer to us.

After your order has been completed, we will send a confirmation email to the administrative contact for your domain names. You must click the link provided in this email to provide transfer authorization codes and final transfer approval before your transfer will be processed completely. |

Transfers will succeed only
if the admin contact information showing in the current registrar's
Whois is up-to-date. |

Not all domain name functionalities will
transfer. For example, another registrar may offer 5 MB
free
Web hosting, free URL forwarding, etc. These services will
not transfer. You will, however, have access to set-up any
MyDomain services for your domain once the transfer completes. |

Some domain name functionalities that transfer
will not do so automatically. These services will have to
be re-configured by the client through our account management
system. |

Only .COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .US,
and .INFO domain names can currently be transferred. Other
ccTLDs
will
be included at a later date. |

Transfers will take between 5 and 7 days
under normal circumstances to complete. If the losing registrar
refuses to acknowledge a transfer request for any reason,
the transfer may take longer to complete. |
